With the hiring of a new football coach, Duke took charge on renovating the football locker room and player\u2019s lounge spaces between football seasons to exceed facility standards in the ACC Conference and amongst other Power 4 schools.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n\n

SLAM worked with Hollman Lockers to integrate Vyv technology with non-UV anti-microbial lighting in the locker room and individual lockers. This product disinfects over 90 percent of surfaces and gear, supporting the long-term success and health of athletes and staff.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n

The cutting-edge clean light technology controls and mitigates the spread of harmful contaminants promoting the health and safety of the student-athlete. The antimicrobial lights operate during the evenings and will not interfere with access or use of the locker room.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n

The locker room space was revealed in July 2024 with smiles, laughter and awe from the player\u2019s and coaching staff.
